Challenge: One Shopping feed mixed TOFU/MOFU/BOFU traffic under the same structure, weak title variation, and poor query control.
- 1. Rebuilt catalog into segmented feed architecture by funnel stage (TOFU/MOFU/BOFU).
- 2. Used AI to rewrite titles, descriptions, and key attributes under angle-specific messaging.
- 3. Launched parallel feed tests in Google Merchant Center with strict control groups.
- 4. Added collection-level search ad build-outs with tailored RSAs mapped to product intent clusters.
Outcome: Query quality improved, margin erosion from broad Shopping reduced, and scale resumed without relying on aggressive bid inflation.
