AI Chatbots Will Become the Biggest Ad Channel
Ruslan Galba
Google Ads + AI
Once AI chatbots turn ads on, it's going to be insane.
Google is already doing it.
Think about what these models know.
People talk to them 24/7, dumping their thoughts every day.
They've got a massive record of your problems, frustrations, desires, and plans - in your own words.
They know you mentioned needing new running shoes. They know you complained about your back acting up. They know you asked for ideas for your dad's birthday.
The volume and depth of that data is going to be 100x the scale of Meta.
Now imagine how targeted ads can get when they have all that context.
Meta knows your behavior. Your clicks. Your scroll patterns.
AI chatbots know your thoughts. Your problems. Your exact words.
That's a completely different level of targeting precision.
When they figure out how to ship this at scale, it's going to turn into a massive channel.
Here's what I'm thinking about:
First, the conversion path shortens dramatically.
The chatbot already knows what problem you're solving. The ad doesn't need to educate or qualify. It just needs to present the solution.
Second, the creative game changes.
Ads won't feel like ads. They'll feel like recommendations from someone who actually knows you.
"Based on what we discussed yesterday, here's something that might help with your back."
Third, intent signals become insane.
When someone asks an AI how to fix a problem, that's stronger intent than any keyword search.
The person isn't browsing. They're actively problem-solving.
The brands that figure out how to create for this environment early will have a massive head start.
This is still early. But it's coming faster than most realize.
Pay attention.
